It does the basics.

It does the basics.

You cannot have a default profile for new apps. I. E. Set a default profile for any new app your child uses. Otherwise you have to keep reviewing what they use

Once the time limit is up everything stops. We need to provide an app that can be used regardless of time limit expiration. We must provide messaging in case of an emergency

Works somewhat.Contacted them said I wanted refund doesn't work on windows computer asked for help. They said they would try send pictures but I could pay more for more help. They obviously are not backing up product.Doesn't do much on phone and doesn't work at all on computer.I have uninstalled (without password didn't ask.) Restarted and now it says I have a problem reinstall.Around and around we go.So I paid for a year and they say no refund. Its too many days.Spend your money somewhere else.I will definitely.

Terrible

Stopped working after only a few months. Their only suggestion is to uninstall and re-install. That would be a pain even if I weren't trying to parent a bipolar kid with anger issues.

Woeful - please avoid this terrible product

Was initially pleased with this product. Very easy my to use etc. However after less than a week, my daughter worked out how to disable it. So it doesn’t fulfil its intended purpose. It’s a pathetic system

We have used this for our daughter’s Samsung phone for a couple of years now and it does exactly what we were looking for. I can see where she is when she forgets to tell me her plans! The best thing is that at bedtime the schedule shuts down the access.

Overall a good parental control app

Used qustodio for many years and overall it's been a very good parental app.

Sometimes had a glitch but Qustodio customer support have been there to try and support and solve the issue. It may have been a poor quality smartphone that was more the issue.

Overall recommended.

Regularly fails to do what it claims.

Regularly fails to do what it claims.

Time limits are set, but a child still uses app's outside the allowance, logging 8-10 hours on their systems (!) when theoretically allowed only a couple.
Usage times are set, nothing after 1800 say ... and it's allowing use at 2100 hours!
App's and websites like YouTube blocked ... but hundreds of video's and many hours logged.

And "Support" offer weasley excuses and cliche's like "Reinstall the latest" ... and the failings persist.

Save your money. Avoid this useless app

I've been using Qustodio for 6 months for my 12 yo kid's phone. It stops working every few days and needs updating. To update you have to go thru a lengthy uninstall and reinstall process and even then it often still doesn't work. When not working your child can do anything they want, no protection whatsoever. I paid £40 for a year's subscription. What a total waste of money. Am now trying to get a refund.

Do not trust this app

I do not know why this app has so many good reviews, it is awful.
IT is very easy for kids to bypass, the protection is not reliable and the social media monitoring is non existent.

Every single review I see for this app is just affiliate link clickbait and it is very clear that the reviewers have never actually use dthe app and likely do not even have children, they are simply quoting the features from the qustodio website.

Pretty easy to bypass

I'm a teenager who was impacted by Qustodio. It was super easy to bypass, and while I won't reveal how I did it, I doubt that most people would be able to bypass it. It involves a bunch of workarounds by removing Qustodio's admin permissions. I doubt Qustodio can fix this as it's one of Window's limitations. This works on all restriction services, so good luck finding one that's not bypassable.
